Miranda began archery at age five, when her dad decided to take her shooting with him. She shot compound fingers, where she achieved many records.  At age 12, she made the transition to Olympic-style recurve.  Miss Leek currently holds several Iowa state and national records.

When she's not shooting or doing homework, Miranda enjoys playing the piano, alto saxophone, and reading a good book.
